Fisher 10 Dolly Model / Rig v.01

This is my first attempt to model and rig a Fisher10 Dolly. It’s built to scale and rigged to move vertically the same as the Fisher10 dolly.

Things to update:

• - better geometry for the body
• - model the rotating offset and low mode adapters
• - rig better for camera controls and animating

I’ve added a camera to the rig and it animates like if you were the key grip. You can animate the dolly movement, then boom arm, and then operate the camera seperately. I should probably rig it in an IK way so you can animate the camera and the dolly rig just follows it.

I also found the Gazelle Maya crane rig that everyone uses for motion capture previs. It’s made by Pacific Motion Control. I’ve been experimenting with it, it’s pretty amazing. It inspired me to make the Fisher 10 rig.
